Overview:

The Human Resources Directorate (HRD) enables Transport Canada (TC) business priorities while optimizing the employee experience by providing integrated, inclusive, modern, and client-centric HR services and programs, including:

  • HR planning and implementation of people management strategies;
  • Organizational Design and Classification;
  • Staffing and Recruitment;
  • Workplace management services, such as: Labour Relations, Harassment and Violence Prevention, Occupational Health and Safety, and Values and Ethics;
  • Workplace wellness programs, including Mental Health and Awards and Recognition;
  • Performance and talent management;
  • Diversity and Inclusion;
  • Official Languages;
  • Corporate learning and development; and
  • Compensation service delivery, including end-to-end pay and benefits administration.
