Scope of the standard

CSA B341 sets out the requirements for the design, construction, initial inspection and testing, marking, periodic inspection and testing, and repair of UN pressure receptacles and multiple-element gas containers for the transport of dangerous goods and carried out under the approval of the Canadian authority.

Obtaining or viewing a copy of the standard

A copy of the standard can be obtained directly from the Canadian Standards Association (CSA).

To view the standards, the CSA Group offers an online platform where registered users can access, free of charge, the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) safety standards published by CSA and referenced in the federal TDG Regulations. Users must log into CSA’s Communities of Interest and register for access to the TDG View Access site.
