When renewing a safe manning document, please submit your application at least 3 months before your current document expires. Applying early will help to avoid delays and ensure continued compliance with the Marine Personnel Regulations.
To apply for a safe manning document:

Download the appropriate application form from the table below, based on the type of vessel. Forms are also available to download via the Transport Canada Forms Catalogue.
