Evenflo All4One Car Seats – Non-Compliance for Change in Recline Position

Issue:

Evenflo is informing the public of a non-compliance for certain Evenflo All4One child seats made between July 2022 and December 2022. Specifically, Evenflo has concluded that certain child car seats may not meet the requirements of the Canadian regulations when installed in a rear-facing position using the vehicle seat belt due to a change in recline adjustment position.

Safey risk:

If the child restraint changes its recline position in a crash, a vehicle occupant adjacent to the child restraint is at risk of injury if their fingers are inside the opening above the recline indicator.

Company action:

Evenflo will notify registered owners in writing and provide them with a replacement seat. Evenflo advises that the seat may continue to be used.

Consumer recourse:
