Issue:
Evenflo is informing the public of a non-compliance for Evenflo Gold Revolve360 Slim and Revolve360 Slim child seats made between May 2023 and June 2025. Specifically, Evenflo has concluded that the required French language warning label on the child seat fails to comply with the requirements found in the Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (CMVSS). Due to a translation error, the relevant label on the child seat omits the requirement to utilize the tether when installing the child seat in rear facing mode. In addition, the French language label references potential use of the child seat in booster mode, for which it is not designed or certified. The equivalent English language label on the child seat is compliant.
Safety Risk:
Installation of the child seat without use of the tether would be inconsistent with the instructions and might present an increased risk of injury in the event of a crash.
This child seat is not designed or certified for use as a booster seat and an attempt to use this child seat in that manner would be unsafe.
Company Actions:
Transport Canada’s compliance testing program uncovered the non-compliant condition. Upon being made aware of the issue, Evenflo began investigating the reported non-compliance.
Evenflo will notify registered owners in writing and provide you with a replacement French language warning label.
If you have not yet registered your seat, have moved, or have any questions about this recall, you can contact Evenflo by phone at: 1-937-773-3971 or 1-800-265-0749, or online at https://www.evenflo.ca/pages/contact
Consumer Recourse:
The affected seats should not be returned to retailers or the company. Consumers must register their child seat online or call Evenflo’s customer care team (see ‘consumer contact’ above) to receive a free replacement French language warning label.
