Issue:
Evenflo is informing the public of a non-compliance for certain Evenflo Titan 65 Andover convertible car seats made between March 1st, 2025 and December 11th, 2025. Specifically, Evenflo has concluded that certain convertible car seats may not meet the requirements of the Canadian regulations as some were shipped to customers without the tether strap.
Safey risk:
A seat installed without the tether may perform less well in protecting an occupant in the event of a crash.
Company actions:
Evenflo will notify registered owners of the Titan 65 Andover, directing them to check for the presence of the tether and encouraging its use according to the product instructions. Consumers who lack a tether may request one from Evenflo free of charge. While waiting for the replacement, consumers may continue to use the car seat in rear-facing mode. Evenflo does not recommend use of this seat in forward-facing mode without the tether and Canadian law requires use of the tether forward-facing. If the tether strap is missing from your car seat, Evenflo strongly urges you to contact ParentLink to secure a replacement tether immediately.
If you have not yet registered your car seat, have moved, or have any questions about this recall, you can contact Evenflo (Parent Link) by phone at: 1-937-773-3971 or 1-800-265-0749, or online at: https://registration.evenflo.com/evenflo/ca/carseats
Consumer recourse:
The affected car seats should not be returned to retailers or the company. Consumers must register their car seat online or call Evenflo’s customer care team (see ‘consumer contact’ above) to register.
