Comments on variances

The variance between planned spending and actual spending for 2014–15 can be attributed to the following factors:

  • Ongoing negotiations between Canada and the Ministère des Transports du Québec respecting a mutually acceptable agreement template resulted in no projects being funded in Quebec in the current year.
  • Delays in project tendering and contracting resulted in a shortened construction season and less time for some projects to be completed.
Audits completed or planned No audit was completed during the reporting period.
Evaluations completed or planned Completed April 22, 2015
Engagement of applicants and recipients The Program is posted on the departmental website. An information brochure for applicants is sent to all eligible airports.
