Depending on the number and type of comments received, we may have to group similar comments together into categories called “issues.”
We already have some forty issues grouped into six categories.
For each issue, there is a description of how we understand the issue based on comments received as well as proposed solutions. Everyone will have the opportunity to “correct” our perception of the issue and to propose solutions as we go through the steps of consultation.
We will continue to accept comments and issues throughout the review process.
When the old TDG Act was being reviewed in 1990-1992, Step 2 saw the comments grouped into 37 issues, described in an insert to the Spring 1990 edition of the TDG Newsletter.
