Having technical problems with the Drone Management Portal?

If you're having trouble logging in, try the following:

  • use an up-to-date web browser such as:
    • Google Chrome (version 84 or newer)
    • Safari (version 13.1.2 or newer)
    • Microsoft Edge (version 85 or newer)
    • Mozilla Firefox (version 68 or newer)
  • don't bookmark any pages you see after you sign in. Bookmark the login page only.
  • enable cookies and Javascript in your browser
  • disable any third-party browser extensions that you may have installed

If using GCKey

If you have never used GCKey before, you will need to register for an account

If you already have a GCKey account:

  • if you have a GCKey account used with a another government department, you may use the same one with us to sign-in.
  • if you've forgotten your GCKey password, you'll need to contact GCKey support as we are unable to reset passwords for you. If you don't know what your GCKey username is, you'll need to:
    • register for a new GCKey.
    • register for a new account in the Drone Management Portal using the same email address previously provided to us. You'll have the option to access your previous account with us at that time.
What is GCKey?

The GCKey service is provided by the Government of Canada to allow you to securely conduct online business with various governmental programs and services. The GCKey service issues you your GCKey. A GCKey is a unique username and password (electronic credential) that allows you to communicate securely with online government services. The government of Canada, as the service provider, issues these credentials to individuals so that they can access government online services.

What do I do if I have problems with my GCKey?

If you are experiencing problems with your GCKey, please review the Frequently Asked Questions as the information you are looking for may already be provided. If you need to report a lost or stolen username of password, or have problems accessing the website, please call:

If using a Sign-In Partner

If using a Sign-In Partner or online banking partner, you will be forwarded to them to sign-in using your online banking credentials.

If you've switched banking partners and no longer have access to the account used to login with us, you'll have to contact us to reset your account. You may switch to either secure sign-in option, such as a different banking partner or GCKey.

What do I do if I have problems with a Sign-In Partner or online banking partner?

For problems with your Sign-In Partner credentials such as:

  • A password that is not accepted
  • A forgotten password
  • Lost bank card
  • Not remembering the answers to your security questions

Please contact the help desk for your Sign-In Partner or online banking for assistance.

For problems such as:

  • You are not forwarded to your Sign-In Partner
  • The Sign-In Partner site does not display properly
