AUTHORIZATION TO ALLOW THE ATTACHMENT OF AN IDENTIFICATION PLATE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SUBSECTION 201.01(2) OF THE CANADIAN AVIATION REGULATIONS

In accordance with subsection 201.01(1) of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), no person shall operate an aircraft in flight unless there is an aircraft identification plate attached to the aircraft.

Subject

This authorization is to allow Mr. Robert Fraser to install an identification plate for the aircraft C-IGOP, model Eagle, serial number 49 1 1 28.

Application

This authorization applies only to the aircraft C-IGOP, model Eagle, serial number 49 1 1 28.

Conditions

This authorization is subject to the following conditions:

  • the plate must be attached in a position near the pilot seat where it is readily visible;
  • the following information shall be permanently etched, engraved or stamped on the identification plate that is attached to the aircraft:
    • name of the manufacturer -
    • model designation – serial number

Validity

This authorization is valid until the earliest of the following:

  1. the date on which any condition specified in the exemption is breached;
  2. the date on which it is cancelled in writing by the Minister where he is of the opinion it is no longer in the public interest, or is likely to adversely affect aviation safety.
