Transcript

Canada is improving how we prevent and respond to marine incidents from coast-to-coast-to-coast by partnering with Indigenous Peoples, updating the Canada Shipping Act, 2001, opening 6 new search and rescue stations, establishing 24/7 marine regional operation centres, updating over 130 remote communications sites, investing in new modern environmental response equipment, hiring and training additional personnel.
