Canada has made progress advancing the important mandate of the International Maritime Organization and will continue to support safe and sustainable shipping on the Council.
As a maritime trading nation with the longest coastline in the world, Canada seeks to continue participating and leading cooperatively and collaborative on the International Maritime Organization Council in 2024-2025.
