This video will show you how to sign in using your GCKey.
This is your first step to signing into the transportation Security Services platform
and completing your Transportation Security Clearance Application.
You will have received an e-mail inviting you to sign up to your Transportation Security Services account. The email will review the steps you need to take and give you your Invitation Code.
You have 4 days to complete this process. The link in the body of the email takes you to the Transportation Security Services web site to start the process.
Choose your language. Next, you’ll be prompted to sign in by choosing between signing in with GCKey or by using a Sign-in Partner. In this video, we’ll choose “Sign in with GC Key.” If you already have a GC Key account, you can fill in your username and password in the dedicated boxes. Otherwise, please click on “Sign Up”.
This screen shows the terms and conditions to use GC Key. Choose “I accept” to continue. Create your username, then select “Continue”. Now create your password, confirm it, then select “Continue”. Save your password in a safe place. You will be prompted to provide recovery questions, answers, and hints. When you’re finished, select “Continue”.
If you choose to have an optional account recovery via email, fill in the required screens, then select “Continue”. Don’t forget to save that information in a safe place.
You will now see a confirmation page indicating your GCkey sign-up is complete. Select “Continue”. At this point, a confirmation code will be sent to your e-mail address. Copy and paste it here, then select "continue". If completed, you will see a confirmation that you have added the e-mail recovery option. Select "continue".
You’ll see a welcome screen that shows the user name you have chosen. Once you select "continue", you will have completed the first step.
Congratulations! If you need help completing the second step, click on "read the tutorial" in the invitation e-mail.
