What this job has really offered me is the ability to have a work-life balance, to have flexible work arrangements, and the ability to truly unplug after hours.
At Transport Canada, I’ve had managers that have seen my worth, and they’ve really pushed me to be a better inspector and just go to the goals that I want to achieve.
We’ve always been supported by the various directors we’ve had. It’s really important for us to have a work environment that’s inclusive, diverse, and positive.
To do this job, you need to really care about providing a service to Canadians that might go unseen. I love my job.
