Feedback needed on a proposal for a national system for marine pollution incident preparedness, response, and recovery

The Government of Canada is looking for feedback on a proposal for a national system for marine pollution incident preparedness, response, and recovery. The creation of a cohesive, national system will improve Canada's ability to respond to all marine pollution incidents, regardless of the source of the pollution.

This proposal can be found in a discussion paper that was recently posted online. Visit Preparing for and responding to marine pollution to read the discussion paper and offer your valuable feedback before May 31, 2023.

Any questions can be directed to OPPMPPRR-PIRCPMPPO@tc.gc.ca, with the subject heading "Marine Pollution Preparedness, Response, and Recovery Discussion Paper."
