Transport Canada’s Approved Products Catalogues help owners of marine vessels to find products that have been approved by the department.
There are nine catalogues, each accessed from its home page, as listed below.

- Doors and Hatches
- Electrical Cables
- Life Saving Equipment
- Pollution Prevention Equipment
- Reduction Gears
- Structural Fire Protection
To use a catalogue:
- Click on the relevant catalogue title above.
- When the catalogue home page opens, select the desired product category from the list in the window – scrolling as necessary – and then click on “Submit”.
- When the list of specific products appears, learn more about any item by clicking on “show” in the right column.
