Aviation Security - monthly compliance report to the Interim Order

The following charts display the monthly results of Aviation Security inspection activities against the elements of the Transport Canada Interim Order Respecting Certain Requirements for Civil Aviation Due to COVID-19.

On January 5, 2023, in response to the surge of COVID-19 in the People’s Republic of China and the limited epidemiological and viral genomic sequence data available on these cases, the Government of Canada reintroduced an Order in Council and an Interim Order. These orders are limited in scope, applying only to passengers boarding flights directly from the People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong or Macao. There are currently no obligations for the air carriers to report instances of non-compliance to Transport Canada.
