Grant and Contribution Service Standard Report Card, 2015 to 2016

From Transport Canada

Overview of results

We met or exceeded performance targets for all of our service standards. Performance in 3 of 4 standards improved from last year, with notable improvements in:

  • acknowledging receipt of applications (11% improvement)
  • sending draft agreements (13% improvement)

Areas for improvement

Each program that did not meet the 2015 to 2016 performance target prepared a management action plan with steps to address performance issue(s).

We recently put in place an electronic process for approving and processing grant and contribution payments. We expect this new process to improve our performance for issuing payments in 2016 to 2017 and beyond. After the 2016 to 2017 year, we’ll review our service standards, metrics and performance targets to support continuous improvement in our funding programs.
