Overview of results

Overall, the results of this year’s service performance shows dedication to continued improvement in operational performance under normal circumstances.

Most programs met and exceeded performance targets for the department’s mandatory service standards (acknowledging receipt and issuing payment).

The average performance for all programs exceeded 90%.

Areas for improvement

Moving forward, Transport Canada will continue to look for opportunities to enable ongoing improvement of how we deliver grant and contribution programs by increasing the service standard target from 80% to 90%.
