Air taxi operators transport thousands of Canadians across this beautiful country. They reunite us with friends, family, and bring us those all-important goods.
We’re working with industry associations to develop strategies, educational products, and tools to help air-taxi operators and their clients reduce safety risks and eliminate the acceptance of unsafe practices.

Because of this, Transport Canada has launched the air taxi safety campaign.
It’s about:
- encouraging safety in the air taxi community,
- speaking up when something is unsafe, and
- feeling comfortable asking for help.
It’s also about:
- promoting a positive safety culture,
- sharing ideas and best practices, and
- building better relationships.
Together we’re developing strategies to change values, attitudes, and behaviours.
