7.6.1 Equipment Criteria
- Life preservers used for this drill shall be identical to each model carried on the air operator's fleet.
7.6.2 Performance Criteria
- Each trainee shall perform the following for each model carried:
- Remove life preserver from the closed/sealed pouch;
- Don life preserver and inflate using automatic inflation of at least one chamber;
- Partially inflate second chamber of life preserver orally;
- Practice deflation technique;
- Locate and review light activation;
- Locate whistle; and
- Fit life preserver for a child.
