Reconnect to your myTC Account

Here are some options to help you reconnect your myTC Account:

  • I lost my GC Key Password

    Step 1: Go back to the GCKey Sign in page and click "Forgot Password" to reset.

    Step 2: Provide answers to your security questions (see "I forgot the answers to my GCKey account security questions" below).

    Step 3: Enter your new password. Make sure to record your username and password and keep it in a secure location.

  • I forgot the answers to my GCKey account security questions

    You must create a new GCKey account and connect it your myTC account.

    Step 1: Sign up for a new GCKey

    Step 2: Verify your identity and complete sign-up

    Step 3: Sign in to myTC Account using your new GCKey username

    Step 4: Register to myTC account using the same e-mail used in your previous myTC Account. You will be prompted with further instructions.

    Step 5: Check your email for a validation link from myTC Account. Open the validation link.

    Step 6: Start using your reconnected myTC Account. Make sure to record your login name and password and keep it in a secure location.

  • I lost my GCKey username

    You must create a new GCKey account and connect it your myTC account.

    Step 1: Sign up for a new GCKey

    Step 2: Verify your identity and complete sign-up

    Step 3: Sign in to myTC Account using your new GCKey username

    Step 4: Register to myTC account using the same e-mail used in your previous myTC Account. You will be prompted with further instructions.

    Step 5: Check your email for a validation link from myTC Account. Open the validation link.

    Step 6: Start using your reconnected myTC Account. Make sure to record your login name and password and keep it in a secure location.

  • I use both GCKey username and Banking Partner as my login for multiple applications and now I am confused

    Your myTC Account can only be associated with one type of login: GCKey or Sign-in Partners. You will need to contact Transport Canada Service Desk to resolve this issue.

Important Notes

Always keep only one method of login

You can only use one of the following: GCKey or Secure online banking partner.

Your myTC Account can only be associated with one type of login.

Remember your login information

Make sure to record your login name and password and keep it in a secure location.

If you forget yourUser ID, you may be required to create a new GCKey and reconnect your myTC Account.
