Service Standard Fees

Civil Aviation must always balance its resources between Transport Canada's legislative mandate for safety oversight and the aviation community's demand for regulatory services. Work has begun to develop policies and standards to align the mutual expectations of the aviation industry, the department's legislative mandate, and the Canadian public that we serve.

Service Standards have been developed for commercial and business aviation operations, aircraft maintenance and manufacturing, general aviation operations, and civil aviation medicine. This site will be updated as policy, service measurement metrics and service standards are developed for the remaining functional areas of Civil Aviation.
