CSA B339 and CSA B341 require facilities applying for registration to include information about staff training, qualifications, and experience. This applies to facilities that requalify cylinders and/or perform periodic inspections and tests of UN pressure receptacles using pressure testing.
Transport Canada reviews this information to determine whether the training is adequate before granting registration. Applicants must show that their staff understand the applicable standards and can consistently meet their requirements.

Applicants can confirm course completion by submitting a copy of their training certificate. Training certificates are valid for 3 years, and anyone who requalifies cylinders and/or periodically inspections and tests of UN pressure receptacles must complete refresher training every 3 years.
