Preparatory Discussion Group 06 and High Level Meeting 01September 14 and 15, 2016

The PDG06 and HLM01 meetings are being held at the Pan Pacific Vancouver.  At these meetings, the Ministerial Declaration, to be signed at the Third Joint Ministerial Conference of the Paris and Tokyo Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), will be discussed and further refined.

Hotel Reservations

A special block of 50 rooms at a discounted rate (CAD 259.00 + taxes and fees) have been held for the nights of September 13 to 16, 2016 at the designated meeting hotel, The Pan Pacific Hotel Vancouver. In order to receive the discounted rate, all reservations must be made through the hotel using the following contact information.

All reservations must be received by Friday, August 19, 2016. The discounted rate will only be available for reservations made prior to this date. Any changes to your reservation must be made by contacting the Pan Pacific Hotel Directly. The Pan Pacific Hotel has only allocated a block of rooms at this discounted rate for the nights of September 13, 14 and 15. Should you wish to arrive early or extend your stay, the hotel has offered a slightly higher discounted rate, subject to hotel availability (CAD 329.00 + taxes and fees) for the nights of September 11, 12 and 16. If your stay should extend past the 16th, you will need to contact the reservations office via email or telephone in order to book your stay, and any other nights will be priced as per the hotel’s discretion.

Registration/Information Desk

The Registration/Information Desk will be staffed throughout the duration of the two-day meeting to ensure continuity of service. At the Desk, attendees can obtain their name badges and meeting kit and any assistance they require with respect to the meeting program, transportation, local tourist information or social activities. A message board for attendees will be located at the Desk.

Secretariat Office

A Secretariat Office will be set up and staffed by Transport Canada personnel. The office will be used for Secretariat purposes only and will not be available for use by attendees.

Business Centre

The Pan Pacific Hotel Vancouver’s Business Centre is available to all attendees for their business needs during their stay.
