Researching a registered vessel: Order a transcript

Fees:

  • $50 for certified transcript, Canadian Register of Vessels
  • $20 for uncertified transcript, Canadian Register of Vessels
  • No fee for Small Vessel Register

Certified or uncertified transcripts

The information in an uncertified transcript is for general purposes only.

If you need vessel registration information for legal or official reasons, get a certified transcript. A certified transcript is verified by a Registrar, who confirms the details are true.

The Registry does not assume legal responsibility for uncertified transcripts or for telephone advice.

Order transcripts online

You can order transcripts through the online system only for vessels registered in the Canadian Register of Vessels. To order a transcript for vessels registered in the Small Vessel Register, contact the Vessel Registration Office.

Use the Online Transcript Order System to order and pay for your transcript. The final screen prompts you to securely pay by credit card or debit.
