The Explosives Detection Dog and Handler Teams (EDDHT) Program is an effective and efficient screening method of detecting explosives for industry to use when securing cargo for transportation by air.

Program Details
Transport Canada's national EDDHT Program will:
- Foster job growth by creating a number of new positions within Canada;
- Promote economic growth by increasing the flow of secured goods at Canadian airports to foreign markets; and
- Provide industry with an efficient and environmentally sustainable security screening option.
Program Participation
To be a part of the EDDHT Program, your business will need to:
- Complete an online application
- Complete a Security Plan
- Complete a Certification Process
