Order Repealing the Order Under Section 32.01 of the Railway Safety Act Due to COVID-19, No. 23

Whereas the Director General, Rail Safety, pursuant to section 32.01^{Footnote a} of the Railway Safety Act^{Footnote b}, made the Order Under Section 32.01 of the Railway Safety Act Due to COVID-19, No. 23 on September 9, 2022;

Whereas the Director General, Rail Safety, considers that that Order is no longer necessary in the interests of safe railway operations;

And whereas, pursuant to section 45 of the Railway Safety Act^{Footnote b}, the Minister of Transport has, in writing, authorized the Director General, Rail Safety, to make an order under section 32.01^{Footnote a} of that Act;

Therefore, the Director General, Rail Safety, pursuant to section 32.01^{Footnote a} of the Railway Safety Act^{Footnote b}, makes the annexed Order Repealing the Order Under Section 32.01 of the Railway Safety Act Due to COVID-19, No. 23.

Repeal

Coming into Force

2 This Order comes into force at 23:59:59 Eastern Daylight Time on September 30, 2022.
