Issue:
On certain Cybex Aton G Swivel infant car seats, the harness anchor hooks can be damaged. If this happens, the harness can loosen and detach from the seat.
Safety Risk:
A harness that is loose or detaches from the seat can increase the risk of injury. If you notice any damage to the hooks or a missing harness anchor pin:
- do not use the seat
- contact Cybex immediately

Company Actions:
Cybex has designed a device that locks the harness and the harness anchor pin in place.

The company will give all owners of affected infant car seats a free remedy kit. The remedy kit includes:
- a locking device to secure the harness and anchor pin
- step-by-step instructions on how to install the device
- a link to a video showing how to install the device
All Cybex Aton G Swivel infant car seats made after May 10, 2024 already have a new harness anchor retention method.
Consumer Recourse:
Cybex will send the remedy kits to registered product owners. Cybex will also tell dealers and retailers how product owners can get remedy kits.
If you haven't registered your infant car seat, or if you've moved, contact Cybex to get a free repair kit. Make sure you have this information ready when you contact Cybex:
- your infant car seat's article number
- its date of manufacture
- your updated mailing address

Once you receive the kit, install the device by following the included instructions.
