Cabin Safety Standards

Cabin Safety Inspectors are responsible for cabin safety practices. They evaluate flight attendant manuals and training programs, conduct pre-flight, in-flight, aircraft, base and training inspections, and they evaluate the cabin safety practices of air operators. As the Headquarters functional branch, Standards Inspectors develop regulations, standards, procedures and guidelines on cabin safety issues and provide support to their colleagues in the Regions and in other Branches.
