Request an initial medical certificate for a pilot licence or a pilot permit (other than a student pilot permit)		40 working days. The service standard doesn’t apply when an application: is incomplete there’s a medical finding on a Medical Examination Report, or we need other medical exams or reports to make sure that requirements are met
Request a renewal of a medical certificate for a pilot licence or a pilot permit (other than a student pilot permit)		40 working days. The service standard doesn’t apply when an application is incomplete there’s a medical finding on a Medical Examination Report, or we need other medical exams or reports to make sure that requirements are met
Extend the validity period of a medical certificate		10 working days
Request a temporary medical certificate		10 working days
Replace a lost or destroyed medical certificate		10 working days

Fees may change based on inflation every year on April 1.

Based on Transport Canada’s Policy on remissions, if we miss the service standard, some of your fee may be reimbursed.
