The deadline to nominate a person or group for the 2024 Transport Canada Aviation Safety Awards is now open until September 8, 2023.
Purpose
Transport Canada’s Aviation Safety Award is given to Canadians and Canadian organizations (groups, companies, agencies or departments) that have made a significant and outstanding contribution to aviation safety in Canada.
The award was presented every year from 1988 to 2014, before being relaunched in 2021.
Prize
Winners will receive a certificate signed by the Minister of Transport. Their name will also be etched onto a plaque in Transport Canada’s offices in Ottawa.
