The Public Servants Disclosure Protection Act (PSDPA):
- encourages employees in the public sector to report serious wrongdoing
- protects employees against punishment should they make a report
Making reports of wrongdoing public
The Act requires that founded cases of wrongdoing must be made available to the public.
These reports must include:
- a description of the wrongdoing
- recommendations made to the chief executive
- corrective action taken by the chief executive
Transport Canada’s reports on findings of wrongdoing
We publish our reports under each fiscal year, which runs from April 1 to March 31.
