Let’s Talk Aviation Safety – Updating the Vancouver International Airport Zoning Regulations

Current status: CLOSED

Open on July 4, 2022 and will be closed on November 30th, 2022.

Transport Canada wants to update the Vancouver International Airport Regulations, which haven’t been updated in over 30 years. The changes will restrict the heights of future development near the airport and will include rules that minimize the risk of bird strikes and ban electronic interference with communications to and from aircraft.
