You can submit service feedback to Transport Canada if you have a compliment, complaint or comment about the service we provided. The feedback you submit will help the department identify service issues and trends, which will help us ensure professional, consistent and standardized service delivery to all of our clients.
Transport Canada is committed to service excellence.
What is service feedback?
Service compliments, comments or complaints are related to how the service was delivered by the department. This could include, but is not limited to, the following:
- timeliness of service provided
- accuracy of service or authorization received
- accessibility of information
- the process to obtain a service or authorization (ie: complexity of a process or efficiency of process)
- staff behaviour
If your service feedback relates to an operational issue or departmental decision, and does not relate to a service matter, other options are available for contacting the department.
Air travel complaints
If you experienced a problem, you should first contact your airline to resolve it. If that does not work, you can file a complaint with the Canadian Transportation Authority (CTA). The CTA processes complaints and settles disputes between travellers and airlines.
