Transport Canada is no longer accepting applications under this call. All project proposals received prior to December 9, 2021 will be evaluated under the specific criteria of the Continuous Call and results will be communicated to the applicants. What you need to know.
What you need to know
You are required to submit an expression of interest (EOI) for your project. This will help you verify that you are eligible for funding and your project meets the eligibility criteria.
It will also allow you to receive feedback before we invite you to submit a comprehensive project proposal.
There are three outcomes of the expression of interest review:
- Ineligible projects will be screened out
- Eligible projects with satisfactory data supporting trade diversification will be invited to submit a comprehensive project proposal
- Eligible projects with incomplete data will be given the opportunity to provide more details
Submit an expression of interest
You must submit expressions of interest for the continuous call for proposals using the Transport Canada application portal.

What happens next
We will:
- Review your expression of interest submission for completeness and to determine whether you met all the essential eligibility criteria
