TP 15385 – TERMPOL Review Process on the KITIMAT LNG Project

This document presents the TERMPOL Review Report of the co-venture project led by Chevron Canada Ltd and Woodside Energy (Canada) International Ltd. Their proposition is to build and operate a liquified natural gas (LNG) facility and marine terminal to store and export LNG within the District of Kitimat, British Colombia. The report summarizes the outcome from the Technical Review of the proponent’s submissions of surveys and studies with regard to the marine transportation components of the proposed project.

TP 15392 – Guidelines for fishing vessel major modification or a change in activity

The fishing vessel safety regulations came into force on July 13, 2017. The regulations contain new stability requirements. A vessel constructed on any date that has a hull length of more than 9 m, that has undergone a major modification or a change in activity that is likely to adversely affect its stability after July 13, 2017 or is fitted with an anti-roll tank, will be required to undergo a stability assessment by a competent person.

Memorandum of Understanding between Fisheries And Oceans Canada and Transport Canada Regarding Safety at Sea of Food, Social and Ceremonial & Recreational Fish Harvesters

l. Purpose

The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is to provide a framework for cooperation between the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) and Transport Canada (TC) with regard to promoting safety at sea of Food, Social and ceremonial (FSC) as well as recreational fish harvesters. The scope of this MOU is limited to FSC and recreational fish harvesters.
