Expression of interest period
The expression of interest submission phase ended on December 21, 2020. Please visit our website regularly for the latest news and announcements.
What you need to know
The expression of interest gives us a summary of your proposed project, which we will use to give you feedback on your project’s eligibility, and if it can meet the call for proposal’s objectives and essential criteria. This is an optional step to get early feedback on your proposal, before you write a more detailed comprehensive project proposal.
If you are applying, you should submit your expression of interest using our online application portal.
You will need a Government of Canada-issued GCKey to access the NTCF online application portal. When you open the application portal, you will be asked to login with your GCKey username and password or sign up for one if you don’t have one yet.
For more information and FAQs about GCKey, please visit the GCKey information page.
Before you start an expression of interest, you should review our applicant’s guide for the Arctic and Northern call for proposals, especially part three of the guide, which explains how to use the portal to submit an expression of interest. Access the applicant’s guide for the NTCF Arctic and Northern call for proposals.
NOTE: The information contained in an application to the NTCF Arctic and Northern call for proposals may be shared with, or referred to, other Government of Canada departments and agencies, including Crown corporations.
What happens next
We will review your submitted expression of interest and send you our feedback by email within 20 business days.
Even if you submit an expression of interest, you must still complete and submit a full comprehensive project proposal for your project to be considered for funding.
