The documents you include with your application depend on the type of approval for which validation is being requested.
For the validation of type certificates or supplemental type certificates of foreign designed aeronautical products, refer to section 521.453 Canadian Aviation Regulations for the list the requirements for certifying or changing aeronautical products.
In the case of a Canadian applicant applying for validation in a country other than Canada, review the applicable bilateral agreement for the country and follow the procedures within it. If there is no bilateral agreement, contact your local Aircraft Certification branch.
