About the airport

The St. Anthony Airport is located on the Great Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland and Labrador, approximately 50 kilometres from the town. It primarily serves the communities of St. Anthony, L’Anse aux Meadows, Raleigh-Ship Cove, Main Brook-Englee Area, Straits-St. Barbe, Northern Peninsula East, White Bay North, Hawkes Bay, the Port au Choix area and Southern Labrador.

The airport was opened in 1987 and continues to be owned and operated by Transport Canada. The airport is designated as a regional/local airport under the National Airports Policy.

Terminal building (7 days a week): 24 hours

Administration Office (Monday to Friday except statutory holidays): 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
