About the airport

The Wabush Airport is located in the western Labrador of Newfoundland and Labrador. The airport primarily serves the communities of Wabush, Labrador City, as well as Fermont, Quebec.

The airport was opened in 1961 and continues to be owned and operated by Transport Canada. The airport is designated as a regional/local airport under the National Airports Policy.

Terminal building (7 days a week): 8:00 am to 8:30 pm

Administration Office (Monday to Friday except statutory holidays): 9:30 am to 4:30 pm
