Once you've submitted your documents and passed our technical review, Transport Canada will mail you a program package with a decal and a letter of participation.
Once enrolled in the program, you will need to fill-out an annual compliance report (see Renew your enrollment section) each year. Make sure to keep a copy of your latest report onboard.
Place the decal on the hull of your vessel where it's easy to see. Your decal is valid for 5 years.
- Blue decals are for small passenger vessels and workboats
- Orange decals are for small fishing vessels, and
- Green decals are for tugs (available at the end of summer 2021)
