About the airport
Penticton Airport (YYF) is located on the traditional territory of the SnPink’tn (Penticton Indian Band), in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. The airport first opened in 1941 and mostly serves the South Okanagan, Similkameen and West Kootenay areas. The airport is owned and operated by Transport Canada.
The airport provides convenient access to the Okanagan Valley and is only a 10-minute drive from downtown Penticton. With connections to major hubs, the airport supports a community of over 200 employees and plays a key role in responding to emergencies and natural disasters across the region.

Hours of operations
The terminal building is open 7 days a week. Please refer to the airline schedule or contact the airport’s administration to confirm.
The Administration Office is open Monday to Friday (except statutory holidays): 8 am to 4 pm.
