• You must submit the application form using Transport Canada’s Grant and Contribution Management System (GCMS).

Grants may be provided to fund the following short-term eligible activities if the proposed activity directly contributes to one or more of the program objectives:

Activities include:

• Maximum funding of up to $3,500 per recipient per activity for preparing and attending virtual meetings.
• Maximum funding of up to $5,000 per recipient per activity for in-person meetings, reviewing documents and providing written comments, conducting studies, hiring expertise and coordinating local engagement activities and/or meetings.

The funding will be provided as a grant for short-term activities only.

This funding program may be accessed when receiving an invitation to participate in HFR engagement and consultation activities from Transport Canada and/or the HFR Technical Office. Eligible recipients include:
