Approved Check Pilot (ACP) and Advanced Qualification Program (AQP)

Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) provides oversight of pilot competence by leveraging industry expertise and commitments to safety.

The Approved Check Pilot (ACP) and Advanced Qualification Program (AQP) facilitate the majority of onsite checks and evaluations of pilots operating under the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), Part VII – Commercial Air Services.

TCAA oversees all checks and evaluations done through the programs, and continually monitors ACPs and AQP Evaluators.
