PNR-013-2014 expired The purpose of the exemption is to permit Custom Helicopters and its respective flight crew members to operate, pursuant to a special flight authority, a Bell Helicopter Model 206L equipped with an engine Inlet Barrier Filter system, in VFR flight within controlled or uncontrolled airspace with meteorological conditions below those set out in sections 602.114 and 602.115, and in IMC in any class of airspace not in accordance with IFR contrary to subsection 602.121(1). The flight test is conducted for the purposes of an application for the revision to the Supplemental Type Certificate (ST, SH12-17. The engine inlet barrier filter system currently limits the operation of the rotorcraft until such time as the Snow Clearance test is carried out in accordance with Airworthiness Manual (AWM) paragraph 527.1093(b)(1), Advisory Circular (AC) 500-008, Issue 1, and FAA A 27-1B (section A27.1093, Paragraph c)).

NCR-013-2014 expired The exemption allows Air Canada to conduct flight attendant initial and annual training for Aircraft Exit Operation Drills as required by paragraphs 7.3.1(a) of Initial Part Seven and 7.1.1(a) of Annual Part Seven of the FATS without operating the Boeing 787 floor level exit. Currently, the Schedule A of the FATS– Aircraft Exit Compatibility Groups – does not recognize the Boeing 787 aircraft. This exemption allows Air Canada to treat as equivalent the operation of the Boeing 777 floor level exit trainer and the Boeing 787 floor level exit.
