| Marine | Ballast Water Innovation Program | The Ballast Water Innovation Program (BWIP) helps industry address technical and operational challenges with a Ballast Water Management System (BWMS) in the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River (GLSLR) region, whose waters are cold, fresh, and mixed with sediment. |
| Marine | Boating Safety Contribution Program | Funds projects that promote safer boating or that study ways to change boating behaviours. |
| Marine | Community Participation Funding Program | Funds Indigenous groups and members of local communities who wish to participate in planning changes to marine transportation in Canada. |

| Marine | Indigenous Participant Funding Program | The Indigenous Participant Funding Program (IPFP) funds projects and initiatives designed to support the capacity of Indigenous communities and organizations to participate in Canadian Navigable Waters Act (CNWA), the Wrecked, Abandoned or Hazardous Vessels Act (WAHVA) and the Federal Contaminated Sites Action Plan. |
